| Owner Shane Mendoza, began Mendoza Mechanical as a one man band in a small unit in Upper Hutt. Since 1991 the company has progressively grown, moving premises three times, each larger in size, to the current site it is at today, which comprises of over 1000 m2, plus a large car park. To keep up with the demand our staffing has changed from Shane working alone, to now employing 8 full time staff. Mendoza Mechanical has recently been appointed an Authorised Holden Service Operation, catering to Holden vehicle owners service requirements. We are extremely proud to be involved with Brendon Foot Motors and Holden New Zealand in this venture. Our success has come from sheer hard work and determination. We have an outstanding team of hard working and loyal automotive technicians who pride themselves on the work they do and customer satisfaction. All of our staff are very much team players, and know that their input is highly valued. Mendoza Mechanical has a large client base, many of whom are very loyal and have been with us from our early days. We now have customers that span 3 generations. We pride ourselves in giving top quality service, and in our appearance and integrity. We go the “extra mile” for our customers, and it shows in the repeat business we get. Mendoza Mechanical are authorised repairers for Autosure, Driveright, and several other Warranty Companies. We are a Warrant of Fitness testing facility with consistently high LTSA audit results. We are also well known among local workshops for troubleshooting electronic systems. We consider ourselves not just the largest workshop in Upper Hutt, but also the best. |
